Product Description
Ethiopian Natural - Medium Roast
USDA CERTIFIED ORGANIC, Natural Process, Living Income Pricing
Tasting Notes: Black Cherry, Strawberry, Raw Sugar
Impact Story: Your purchase not only supports women in recovery, but it also supports coffee producers by providing market access, in addition to collaborating on development projects, gender equality initiatives, and quality improvement programs in its Country of Origin.
Farm Impact: Daye Bensa has been working for several years to improve the perception and quality of Sidamo coffee. They’ve also worked to secure higher prices for the farmers in this area through the Quantit mill. The washing station was originally built in this location because there was nowhere within a 5-10 mile radius for farmers to sell their coffee.
A certified organic farm, Daye Bensa continues to focus on sustainability and giving back to their community of growers. Their labor is sourced from the surrounding villages (with an emphasis and support for women workers).
This cup won 7th place in the 2020 Cup of Excellence.
This naturally processed Ethiopian Heirloom coffee is layered with tons of fruit and floral notes. Bright, fruity, sweet, and syrupy, this coffee is packed with endless notes of flavor.
